Reporting Senior: Division Operations Manager

Position summary:

While keeping safety always in mind and following J&W’s quality management system (QMS) procedures, provide direct support for field and shop operations as these relate to production and operating activities necessary and required by demands of the customer and J&W Services.

Coordinator will always abide by company policies as outlined in the employee manual and J&W Services and Equipment API Q1 Quality Manual and promoting the same to all employees.

Tasks:

• In a professional manner to encourage productivity and maintain a focus on teamwork, provide guidance and instruction as necessary to promote timeliness and efficiencies to peers, shop technicians and field technicians in support customer expectations
• Prior to beginning any task, ensure you understand the equipment and service; Your confidence, knowledge and understanding of the various shop and field activities is extremely important to operational succuss, safety and customer satisfaction.
• Lead by example while promoting high morale
• Understand and be very familiar with the quality procedures and quality forms as identified in QF-443 OF-450 MASTER DOC – PROCEDURES, FORMS, SPECIFICATION
• Understand and be able to instruct employees on the division’s QMS; Specifically –
  • QP-570.03 DDP POST AND PRE-JOB EQUIPMENT INSPECTION, TESTING, & MAINTENANCE
  • QP-590.03 DDP Job Order Process Procedure
• Ensure shop technicians and field service technicians have competency training for the task(s) that have been assigned.
• Proper use of an API Q1 work order will be used when performing any task associated with processing equipment, rental and service orders.
• Take the lead on ensuring equipment assembly and shop production and product realization is fulfilled.
• Ensure shop technicians properly perform equipment assembly and testing of equipment
• Equipment will be released to the customer only when API Q1 procedures have been fulfilled (product release).
• Assist peers in maintaining accurate inventory traceability and identification as defined by API Q1 procedures.  This will include performing spot inventory counts and wall to wall inventory counts.
• Ensure the shop and yard are clean and organized
• Confer with peers to fulfill shop and field operations and activities within or between departments.

• If any problems or questions arise, contact your lead supervisor immediately to fulfill containment and begin the corrective action process.
• While considering safety measures, improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, and efficiency.

• Ensure full accountability of torque pumps, drivers, and wrenches
• Understand, perform, and assist in identification and traceability of customer property; you shall perform procedures to QP-575 Customer Supplied Property and QP-575 Customer Supplied Property
